Editing Exercises

Fig 1.1 - Doritos Exercise

The clips are mixed randomly at first and our task is to rearrange these clips in order. This is our first experience of using Premiere Pro in the module and the task helps us to familiarize ourselves with it.

The same process is done for another exercise for a mint advertisement.

Fig 1.4 - Lalin Exercise

In this exercise, we learn more about Premiere Pro by applying and rearranging clips onto the sequence, using trimming to capture the key moments of the clip as well as overlaying visual information such as text message popups in the sequence. 


Fig 1.5 - 3 Act Story Structure

We are given two clips to watch and analyze its 3 acts story structure afterwards. These clips are Lalin (2005) and Guang (2011).

Fig 1.8 - Color correction exercise

We are introduced to the color correction effect in Premiere Pro for this exercise and explored on adjusting the color of this clip in order to fit the theme we needed. The colors can be adjusted to create hot or cool clips or fix bad lighting.
