IVN: Project 3 and Final Project
Act 1 – Introduction
Across the rooftops, a chase entails. A shady man on the run
traverses from building to building, trying to shake off Jo, who is tailing him
close behind. The two men run their way across the apartment rooftops until
finally, they arrive at the edge of the building. The man had no choice but to
jump across the building to the window opposite it, so he took the jump and
broke through the window. After a moment’s consideration, Jo proceeds to jump
across as well to continue his chase. After turning a few corners, they
eventually found themselves at a dead end. Jo starts to confront the man as he was
cornered, but suddenly a ringing sound flew through the air as glass begins to
shatter. Before Jo realizes what happened, the man fell to his knees
lifelessly. He was shot through the window behind him.
Act 2 – Conflict
Jo was in shock. A moment ago, he was chasing the man, not expecting him to die
out of nowhere. He realized he must get out of there as soon as possible. Jo is
a yakuza, if he were found with a body that would be bad news for his family.
The next morning, an investigation was already underway with Jo being the prime
suspect. Suddenly, there was a knock on his door. He peeked through the window
blinds to see a man that looked like an inspector. He refused to open the door,
but the inspector had a few tricks up his sleeve. After a few tries, the
inspector opened the door with a hairpin. Jo was dumbfounded at the sight of
the inspector but was confused by his next action. The inspector was not there
to question him but rather to work with him, as he tells Jo that he knows he
isn’t guilty of the murder of the man. They decided to work together, Jo to
clear his name and the inspector to solve his case. They decided to re-visit
the crime scene to start gathering information about what may have happened.
Act 3 – Resolution
Jo and the inspector uncovered a few clues to prove Jo’s innocence, but they
weren’t done yet. They want to find the true perpetrator of the man’s death. As
they were visiting the crime scene, another gunshot rang out. The inspector
pointed towards the left and quickly chased after the man. Jo follows along to
stop the man from getting away. The group decides to split up so that they can
corner the man. Eventually, the two cornered the man in a narrow alleyway. The
inspector confronted if he was the one who committed the act but the man stayed
quiet. As they move closer, the man shot his gun. Luckily, he missed Jo by a
hair’s breadth. He pulls the trigger again but that was his last bullet. He
threw the gun away and put up his fists as Jo and the inspector readies
themselves for a fight. Fists flew through the air as they brawl for their
lives. Eventually, the man was too tired to fight so the inspector cuffed him
and brought him to the police. After a few days, the inspector told Jo that his
name was cleared as the true culprit had confessed to his crimes.
